
Established in 2026 This space is dedicated to Ms. Alma Wright who taught in the Boston Public Schools for 56 years, mostly at the William Monroe Trotter Innovation School in Roxbury. Ms. Wright’s teaching practice was pioneering in its use of technology, and her contribution to the field of education was recognized through multiple awards. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Wright’s mentorship, leadership, and commitment to collective action led her to co-found the Garrison Trotter Neighborhood Association. Her work touched generations and strengthened the fabric of Roxbury. This place of peace and reflection honors her life and contributions, celebrates her enduring presence, and carries forward her legacy of building a vibrant community.
