Titus Sparrow Park Basketball Court Naming Dedication Ceremony – Honoring WNBA Hall of Famer Michelle Edwards

Michelle “Ice” Edwards, a Boston South End Native, is one of the first women to play in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). As a youth participating in local basketball programs, Edwards honed her skills at our beloved Titus Sparrow Park earning her an impactful professional career in basketball. In 2014, her amazing talents and accomplishments were recognized and she was inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame.

Join us as we welcome home Boston’s own, WNBA Hall of Famer Michelle Edwards. The Titus Sparrow Basketball Court Naming Dedication Ceremony will take place Saturday, June 27th, 2026. Beginning at 11am with plaque unveiling, speeches, and tributes. Followed by a meet and greet with Michelle Edwards and our youth basketball clinic for players ages 6-14.
